Based loosely on Puccini's La Bohème, Rent follows a year in the life of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York's Lower East Side, Battling poverty, love, addiction, and loss, this unforgettable show is a powerful tribute to friendship, resilience, and living without regret. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Rent rocks with songs that shaped a generation — and taught us all to measure life in love.
