Friday June 20 and Saturday June 21, 2025 @ 8 pm

By Mo Gaffney and Kathy Najimy
The audience is whisked through the outrageous universe of Kathy and Mo, where two actresses play men and women struggling through the common rituals of modern life: teenagers on a date, sisters at their grandmother’s funeral, a man and a woman together in a country-western bar. With boundless humor, PARALLEL LIVES*
reexamines the ongoing quest to find parity and love in a contest handicapped by capricious gods—or in this case, goddesses.

Book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim
Based on the plays of Plautus
It's comedy tonight in Sondheim's zany, Tony Award-winning musical romp. In ancient Rome, three households are caught in the antics of Pseudolus, a clever slave plotting to earn his freedom by helping his young master, Hero, win the heart of the lovely but dimwitted courtesan, Philia.
As Pseudolus schemes his way forward, mistaken identities, wild disguises, and chaotic chases erupt across the city. Toss in a pompous soldier, a nosy neighbor, and a dash of star-crossed romance, and you've got a fast-paced tale packed with brilliant lyrics, unforgettable characters, and nonstop laughs. Sometimes the road to love and freedom-is pure chaos.
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
